Nursing Information Sessions

I currently just started my accounting career as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte Tax LLP and am sitting for the CPA exams. I am glad I went to Detroit Mercy to study accounting and learn the skills necessary for a successful career in public accounting.

My communication studies degree will set the foundation for the rest of my life, and I am forever grateful for the education the professors at University of Detroit Mercy provided me with so far.

My experience at Detroit Mercy has been one filled with work opportunities, connections and classes that helped streamline my career. The flowcharts for degrees are flexible, and allow for some personalization and minors that would be more difficult or impossible at other schools.

The professors have each and every students best interest at heart and always keep their doors open for students to come in to discuss personal or academic matters without appointments.

I feel that my art and my acting have evolved so much in my time with Detroit Mercy through my various collaborations with individuals from so many different and unique backgrounds.

The clinical experiences and simulations have helped me build strong clinical judgment and confidence. Through the STAR Center, my leadership coursework and real-world hospital experience, I feel prepared for the next chapter.

My classes have allowed me to apply what I've learned and share it with the community. Detroit Mercy has taught me to think beyond myself and create projects that help others, a value I carry into almost everything I do

My career will be shaped by my time at Detroit Mercy, as I have become very detail oriented, organized and hard working ... I have grown academically, personally, socially and spiritually.
